    History Ink co-curated four exhibitions to accompany races of historical significance for the Singapore Turf Club, celebrating notable individuals, racehorses, and milestones from its 182-year history (2024).

    We co-curated the Singapore Turf Club’s ‘Hall of Fame’ exhibition to welcome VIP guests for the final Singapore Gold Cup (2024).

  • Celebrating Our Homestretch Campaign for the Singapore Turf Club

    History Ink was commissioned to help deliver a series of films and exhibitions honouring the Club’s 182-year history, including its pioneers, champions and community (2024).

  • Celebrating 60 Years of the Mandarin Oriental

    The Mandarin Oriental, Hong Kong permanent display

    Unveiled in March 2023, this permanent display situated in the hotel’s East Lobby tells the story of the Mandarin’s 60 years in Hong Kong.

  • Genealogical research

    In 2023 History Ink was asked to help trace the lives of an Austrian Jewish family who fled Nazism for Britain, Hong Kong, and China in the 1930s.

  • Revealing refugee histories at the Goethe-Institute

    Opened to the public in November 2021, this thematic exhibition was the first to chronicle Jewish refugee lives in Hong Kong before and after the Holocaust.

  • HSBC: A Virtual Story

    This pioneering augmented Reality History Tour App explored the history of HSBC’s links to Hong Kong.

  • Preserving the history of Asia's oldest hotel company

    In her role as Collections Manager for The Hong Kong Heritage Project (HKHP), Amelia helped acquire and source hundreds of historic records for long-term preservation.

  • Hong Kong Maritime Museum

    The ‘Made in Hong Kong: Our City. Our Stories’ exhibition attracted over 100,000 visitors as well as local and international media attention.

  • Using oral history for public engagement

    Our experience with oral history includes recording and transcribing interviews as well as outreach-based training activities.

  • A new history of the Hong Kong Club

    An authoritative yet readable book about this most venerable institution involved three years of investigative, writing and publication work.

  • Education and volunteers programmes

    During her time as Regional Head of HSBC Archives, Helen oversaw the delivery of an education programme to over 900 secondary school students.

    A lavishly illustrated testament to the more than 150-year-old Arnholds trading company.

  • HSBC Archives Centre

    The HSBC Archive Centre in Hong Kong offers museum-class storage and exhibition space for one of the most important business collections in the Asia Pacific.

  • Hari Harilela: Made in Hong Kong

    Another original character of Hong Kong’s free-wheeling port city days is seen making his way from teenage street-side trader to current-day riches in this family history book.
