RTHK’s Annemarie Evans interviews Helen about her archives career and her passion for saving history

Helen in the archives

When History Ink’s Director, Helen Swinnerton, first walked into an archive in her late teens for a university history assignment, she wasn’t expecting the career it would inspire.

Helen sat down with RTHK’s Hong Kong Heritage podcast host, Annemarie Evans, to talk about why she chose to be an archivist, what brought her to Hong Kong to establish HSBC’s archive there, and why many other organisations are asking History Ink to help them discover their own histories.

You can listen to the conversation in full here.
