The International Council on Archives – Section for Business Archives conference, hosted by Diageo Archive in their Johnnie Walker Princes Street building in Edinburgh!

Johnnie Walker is just one of the many well-known brands owned by Diageo. The Diageo Archive is home to the largest alcohol brand archive in the world, as well as the ‘Liquid Library’, an exclusive room with over 5,000 bottles dating from the 1880s to the present.

History Ink Director, Helen Swinnerton, joined the conference to share hands-on strategies for successful engagement campaigns. Helen drew upon her former experience as head of HSBC’s Asia-Pacific Archives and her current role as History Ink co-founder, to share campaigns from the banking, hospitality, and cultural sectors that illustrate how partnerships can enthral, captivate, and educate diverse audiences in the archives profession and beyond.
